A position as become available within this Statewide organisation as a Electrical Engineer. This is an ongoing contract role due to commence in January. The organisation is based in the heart of the CBD and competitive rates are on offer for the right person.
You will be responsible for undertaking engineering designs associated with distribution networks, which will include site visits, customer interaction, design preparation and estimation. Additionally, you will undertake:
- Reviewing distribution designs
- Analysis of faults and load flow
- Reliability studies
- Applying and reviewing planning criterions
- Determining plant parameters for transmission lines and substations
- Contract administration
Ideally, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience with electrical distributions or transmissions
- A Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background
- Strong communication skills
- Well developed conceptual ability
- Strong analytical ability
