About the role:
As Workshop Supervisor, you will be a team leader who likes to get involved and get the job done! You will take initiative, be self motivated, and enjoy dealing with people. Concerned about meeting and exceeding client expectations you will have the ability to lead your team with a positive, proactive approach. You will be a problem solver who enjoys working on different projects and has the ability to adapt and apply multiple skills to ensure the best solution for the client, the job and your staff is met.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure you and your staff meet budgets and deadlines
- Manage workshop supplies
- Site visits throughout WA and occasionally interstate
- Liaise with Project Engineers and Sales Reps to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements
- Liaise with clients in relation to all technical issues and job progress/execution
- Track all jobs and ensure a high quality is maintained
- Supervise the day to day workshop activities
To be successful for this role you will possess for following;
- Good communicator with strong people skills
- Proactive attitude
- Ability to communicate with all interested parties (internally and externally)
- Relevant qualifications within following - Mechanical/Engineering/Machinist/Mechanical Fitter
- Ability to adapt to different situations and requirements for each client/job
- Relevant industry experience (10+ years)
- Ability to meet deadlines while staying within budget
- Knowledge of and exposure to Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday (45 hour week)
